[Similar to America, The Japanese Media is Good…// 名古屋市、日本]

The Japanese media is as good, if not better, than the U.S. media when it comes to media censorship and control. For the past two-three days, I’ve been noticing an influx in reporting abroad on the Tokyo Electric Power Company’s (TEPCO) Fukushima Daichi plant and how it currently is recording its highest radiation levels since the March 11, 2011 earthquake/tsunami. However, in Japanese media reporting, front-page news consists of tornados, semi-floods, and crazy cats. See below for front page news.

I can’t say that American news is any better. These most likely explain why we Americans don’t know our history or about foreign policy.

To be fair, the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Public Health just released a website showing radioactivity levels in Tokyo and according to the data, they’re recording levels lower than New York, Paris, London, and Beijing.
Let’s get to the meat of it. Here are some of today’s Japanese Frontpage News Highlights: Japanese News Frontpage Japanese News Frontpage (English Translation)

I am a long time friend of Dan. I am not surprised to see that he has a “whole neighborhood” that is grateful to him. Keep doing what you do my brother.
